Very seldom do we see LEGO models of ships – in fact, there are also not many official LEGO sets of ship models. This is the reason why we’d love to see this LEGO rendition of the RMS Olympic by Rob eventually accepted and produced as an official LEGO Ideas set.
This model was build due to Rob’s love for world class ocean liners – and just a little background about the RMS Olympic: It was Titanic’s elder sister ship. It was the lead ship of the White Star Line’s trio of Olympic-class liners. The Olympic had a really long career, spanning 24 years from 1911 to 1935. You can read more about the RMS Olympic here.
