If you’ve been in the world of LEGO long enough, you’ll know that LEGO once had sets in the Castle theme – with the very first set introduced in 1978. But this theme has since been retired.
When we first stumbled upon this Brickwood Forest Castle build (by AFOL LM71Blackbird), we immediately linked this to sets in the LEGO Castle theme (do you have the same thoughts as us when you looked at this castle build for the very first time?)
From the description in the LEGO Ideas website – the Brickwood Forest Castle has 3 stories – where you’ll find dungeons and barracks in the first story, armory in the second story, and king’s private quarters in the third story. This build is made from approximately 2,500 LEGO pieces – making this build a challenging one for LEGO enthusiasts.
