Nice set. Great for people who just like to create with hands or like Legos. Might need to buy a base plate to build things on. – By Max S.
I spent many, many hours playing with Legos as a kid and I love randomly building things with them now much later in life. I don’t think you have to be an architect to enjoy this set, just enjoy working/building with your hands.
These are mostly white pieces and also a bunch of clear pieces. There are many tiny parts. Lots of different sizes.
Included is a booklet of Architecture to give you inspiration on what you could build.
The set does not come with a base plate to build on, so you might plan on getting one of those if you don’t have one.
The box is sturdy and there are a few dividers, but I plan to get a plastic container to store/sort the pieces more effectively.
I might also get one of those classic Lego pieces pack to add color or patterns in certain areas of what I build.
You can get if you want a big selection of white and clear pieces to supplement your current set or if you want to have this particular set.
Great Lego Architecture Set – By Jeffery Jackson
Great Lego Architecture Set. The book included is very in-depth also. I would recommend this set to any Lego fan and design professional for design study and “play” in Lego.
Get in the kitchen and make me a house! – By Daniel
Wife loves it. It was a birthday/graduation gift. She just graduated from architecture school and it was perfect. Comes with an awesome book and gives a creative nudge in a fun way.
Couldn’t be happier! – By Dylan
This is now available at a very reasonable price. I love that all the pieces are white so you are not left with a rainbow colored building like when you were a kid. There’s a lot of variety of pieces for the money. I was really surprised at the size and detail of the included book on architecture. I hope they keep selling this for a while, because I’m considering getting another one so I can scale up.
It has it’s pros and cons – By Jake Baet
As an adult it took a lot of guts for me to buy this for myself. I love Legos and this kit is perfect for me.
No instruction book but instead, an inspiration book for architecture enthusiast. I find myself spending hours building. From dream homes to small architectural sculptures, I have the most fun building with this. I use this time as a way to unplug from the busy life surrounded by electronics and social media. Buy this and have fun being creative.
Losing track of time when in the zone, building.
Fingers starts to hurt after a few hours in.
Great starter kit – By Pallas
Love this thing. The book isn’t really great honestly, but I got the book “The Lego Architect” which is fantastic. It let me build a whole bunch of cool structures from that book.
Educational and fun – By Brian W.
Bought this for my 11-year-old son for Christmas. Of course, like all Lego sets, it’s ridiculously overpriced, but not much you can do about that. This set is really nice and comes with a thick, well-written and well-illustrated architecture book that not only provides ideas on what to build, but also talks about architectural concepts and the like. I think this set will be played with/used for quite a while, and I don’t regret buying it. My only suggestion to Lego would be to provide the blocks in plastic resealable containers rather than the bins they come in. That’s not a big deal, though.
Amazing! – By B. Schildkncht
I am an adult and this is my favorite LEGO product so far. While I love building the other sets the architecture studio sparks my imagination and creativity like no other! The book is very helpful and encourages creativity and the end results (you can re-build an infinite amount of times) are amazing. I build things I never thought I could. I highly recommend this set to anyone who wants to do more with LEGOs. It will take you where you have never gone before!
Great product, make sure it’s for the right kid/person – By Dan
Awesome, expensive. Bought for our 13 year old daughter. She’s only dabbled in it so far and I think she’s too distracted in life right now (track, XC, straight As, 2 households) BUT my partner thinks that she will come back to it for sure. Can easily last through high school in terms of supporting creative building.
Creative Freedom – By Sharon
I bought this for my nine year old grandson and he loves it. Finally, he can truly create structures without the constraints of instructions. There’s no wrong way to build what is in his mind. As he grows he can reference the books, but for now he is free to do whatever he likes. I imagine this will interest him for many years.
Will buy it again! – By Kays Sabah Al-Rayes
As an architect, I wish this was around when I was back in college. It is an amazing set, great for making models and studying forms. There are 2 things which I would enhance; it would have been better if it came with a base and if you build in larger scales, you will run out of lego pieces. That is why I intend to purchase another one.
