LEGO Architecture Trevi Fountain 21020
Construct a detailed LEGO brick model of the world-famous >Trevi Fountain, the largest fountain in Rome.
Designed by Nicola Salvi, the ‘Fontana di Trevi’ took 30 years to build and was completed by his friend – the sculptor, Pietro Bracci – in 1762, 11 years after Salvi’s death. This stunning Baroque monument carved from Travertine stone has been the backdrop for many classic movies, including Federico Fellini’s La Dolce Vita. And, today, over 250 years later, the 49-meter-wide fountain still draws thousands of visitors to the small Trevi square.
The intricate LEGO model of this iconic symbol of Rome incorporates features such as the facade of the Palazzo Poli, the statues of Ocean, Abundance and Health, plus translucent blue water-effect LEGO bricks.

Awesome Introduction to LEGO Architecture – By C. Kelleher on February 4, 2016
I got this for Christmas 2015 and it was my first Architecture set. I loved it. The set itself is intricate and challenging, and the packaging and directions make it really fun and interesting to put together. I love the background on the fountain and the little facts that accompany some of the steps. There are a lot of tiny, translucent pieces and it’s a little frustrating, but when it’s done, you can see how the use of lots of little pieces adds to the overall look of the water that could not be accomplished with largest pieces. It took me about 2.5 – 3 hours to build, including the time to sort the pieces by color.

Christmas present to myself 🙂 the boys have their Lego sets and this was a treat for me to do one. We’ve been collecting the LEGO architecture for all the places we’ve been. This was a great first collector!
