Every Geek Needs These – By Linda M. Smith
Yes I am a grownup with a box of Legos! Might help me solve computer problems. Or get me through a rainy day! Ha, ha!
Amazing Classic Kit! – By Christine
We purchased this as a gift for a 4 1/2 year old. I was excited about the price, and he was excited for all the options he can build. This is a fantastic kit, especially as a starter to see if the kid keeps an interest in what can be an expensive hobby. There are a lot of options to build with just this one kit, and the instructions are easy enough to follow. The best part of this kit is the Lego Removal Tool!!!! I would get this kit, just for that little piece.
I would recommend this kit for any Lego beginner or enthusiast looking to start or add to a collection.
I Recommend! – By Tracey
My 4 year old has been playing with these non-stop since they arrived. The instructions are easy for him to follow and the amount of Legos is great for the value.
it is a good amount for the price – By Charity Spaich
The box on this isn’t something you can continue to store your legos in, it is cardboard. But, it is a good amount for the price.
Classic Legos – By Tess
Gift for Grandson – he brings them with him when he visits us. My only criticism is the cheap quality cardboard box, but still having a stronger vinyl lid. They need to provide a stronger container.
Too bad the box is cardboard (except for the plastic top) … – By Gloria Halle
Too bad the box is cardboard (except for the plastic top) because it’s destined to fall apart, but the legos are great, with lots of different pieces. I was afraid the tiny pieces would be too difficult for my three-year-old grandson, but he loves building all sorts of things and finds it totally easy to handle.
Perfect for creativity – By Alyssa C
Came quickly. Very happy since I ordered right before Christmas. It was perfect. My daughter has a few of the boxed sets and she loves them but those make it difficult to make anything you want. These allow her creativity a bit more. I got 2 since the medium was out of stock. It was just the right amount to add to her growing pile!
Excellent introduction to Lego – By Stacey C.
We got this for our 4yo daughter to see how she’d like Legos. She LOVED this set and got extremely imaginative even though the number and variety of pieces looked rather limited to my grown-up eyes. We’ve since purchased several other Lego Classic sets and are really impressed with how well the sets complement each other in terms of brick variety. The ideas that are included are fun, but things get really exciting when you’re building with your imagination and a small child. I highly recommend this set for enthusiasts young and old.
Nephew was happy, so I am too! – By Katelyn A. Brissey
When you read 200+ pieces, you may think it will look like a lot, but think again. That said, the product does not mislead you to think this, it was just my own misunderstanding because I forgot how tiny LEGO pieces can be. My nephew is enjoying building the creations in the instruction book, and he is excited to make his own creations after he’s done with that. I will probably purchase the next size up for his birthday.
Perfect set for many creative ideas – By Tiffany W.
My 12 year old loves Legos. I ordered these to add to his already ENORMOUS collection of Lego blocks. He loves them. Perfect set for many creative ideas.
A lot of fun and goes great with some beer and friends – By Gregory Feldberg
Its exactly what it says it is, a box of original legos. It comes with an instruction booklet to build a couple of things like a lighthouse and race car and directions on how to get more ideas on the lego website. Me and a friend built all of the official ideas in about an hour but obviously theres more to legos than that. I was going to get the larger box that they advertise but I would say that this one is large enough if you have some imagination and aren’t looking to build anything particularly impressive.
PS: If you’re old enough, a box of these, a few beers and some friends make for a pretty great afternoon!
