12-year-old did it – By Kathleen K. Repinski on July 23, 2016
Admittedly I did not purchase this set through Amamzon but rather at the local Lego store, where the pricing was the same. My 12-year-old grandson was visiting us for four days and in that time he managed to complete this project for me. I had recently visited Australia and was thrilled that he could build this for me. Despite several outings, movies and visit with relatives, he remained focused on this project and did accomplish it. I noticed one of the reviews mentioned that there were missing pieces – – maybe I could help as we have quite a few “extras” and had every piece he needed. My project now is finding a display case that is large enough for this creation and won’t break the bank!
My grandson loved it! – By Leann Delaney on June 9, 2016
It really looked realistic as compared to the real thing. My grandson loved it!
Worth the cost for me. – By J. Clem on January 19, 2016
Wow. What a build. Took a bit of work but I love the end result. A fun build for someone who hasn’t fully grown up yet.
Beautiful Lego set – By Millie B. on December 28, 2015
Our son had been wanting this Lego set for the longest time and so this year we got it for him and he was super-excited! He has some kind of Lego every year for the holidays but this one kept him busy for several days (rather than a few hours with the smaller sets). The finished product is remarkably accurate and really does look exactly like the Sydney Opera House (I have visited it recently so I remember a lot of the detail). A great Lego set and will be sure to make Lego fans very happy indeed!
