Wonderful attention to details – By Maryann on March 17, 2015
Lovely very detailed model. Purchased as gift for my adult son (avid Lego enthusiast). He loves it. Wonderful attention to details. Next we are waiting to see a Lego GeeBee!
and this did not disappoint what-so-ever. Great – By C. Weber on January 6, 2015
My husband loves Lego’s, and this did not disappoint what-so-ever. Great, large Lego set.
Fantastic build – By Evan B. on November 23, 2014
I am no longer a child; however, I still love building Legos. When I first saw this set, I knew I had to have it. Took me about six hours to build working at a comfortable pace. I love the realistic flight mechanisms. I keep this set in my office and it is a great conversation piece. I have gotten many compliments on it.
I would love to see Lego produce more sets like this.
Great set. – By Hal on October 19, 2014
This is so much better than the previous Sopwith Camel that Lego released. The set is well designed and stays together well when displayed. It does not hold up well with play, as one would expect as this price. The joystick controls the flaps fairly well for a Lego set. I was very surprised about the amount flap movement with the joystick. After eight months the wings are starting to sag a bit so I braced the bottom set of wings with some 2×2 trans-clear bricks in order to protect the large dark green plates from having a permanent bend. If you like classic aircraft then this set is for you. It is also great as a gift for on history buff.
8 hours of sheer fun! – By Albert D. Smith III on October 10, 2014
8 hours of sheer fun! This kit contains 882 LEGO pieces and 2 very thick instruction manuals. Every flight surface operates, the details are impeccable, and I now have this model hanging in my classroom as an example of perseverance. Highly recommended for aviation, LEGO and hobby fans! Have Fun!
Sweet. – By S. Keiter on July 13, 2014
A very satisfying build, especially if you have plenty of time. Once put together, it forms an a perfectly weighted model. The propeller spins. The flaps and rudder all move. But what puts this model over the top is that the flaps on the wings and the rear stabilizer are operable from the stick inside the cockpit. Sweet.
