Terrific detail, look and feel – By Julian on April 19, 2016
Enjoyable build, terrific detail, look and feel. Its really solid, compared to the Avengers Quinjet for example, and my 3yo plays with it without smashing it up much or too often. All the minifigs are great too.
Awesome set, with waaaaaaay too many stickers. – By Justin G. on March 9, 2016
The minifigs included are awesome, the Milano itself is wonderfully detailed, and the wings are re-positionable and are great for play. The entire cockpit panel lifts off all the way to the back of the ship to reveal an interior with lots of cool details like the tape deck and seating for all the included members of the Guardians team. The Sakaaran ship that’s included is more richly detailed than the one in the Starblaster Showdown kit (76019), slightly larger, and even shoots missiles. The Star Lord figure is particularly awesome, his helmet and blasters are probably some of my favorite LEGO Minifig accessories to date.
Stickers, Stickers, and more Stickers. That’s my biggest and only complaint with this set. I would say that compared to most sets of a similar size, I felt like there were more stickers than typical. You can’t tell from the photo, but on top of one of the wings there’s a 2 x 2 round plate with a little bit of border on it that appears to be printed, but it’s actually a sticker with a clear middle. I got fingerprints on most of the stickers that had clear bits on them, and it’s visible once the sticker is applied to the brick. In addition, the blue and yellow components on the silver wing pieces are all stickers as well. Bummer.
Worth every penny – By Joseph Hackett on December 10, 2015
I’ve built a lot of lego ships (mostly star wars) and this is by far the coolest ship I’ve ever built. It’s bigger then I thought plus the angles and details they’ve built into the ship are fantastic.
