Hours of fun building & playing – great buy – By Kemilie on March 1, 2016
This was at the top of my 10 year old’s birthday wish this year. I guess the days of Chima and Ninjago are past, and Nexo is the new *in* group. 🙂 We own a number of lego castles/temples/fortresses, and this one has some fun and unique design elements. My son loves the fact that it is wheeled (although it doesn’t seem to roll all that smoothly to me…. !), I think the fold open/close design is neat (and makes for a smaller storage footprint.) This was built by my 10 year old during a weekend without any help – there are a lot of pieces but there was nothing extremely frustrating about this build. The canons and drawbridge add some excitement, and all the mini figures included make for a great play set once built. Two thumbs up from my lego obsessed crew.
Awesome – very well designed. – By Bryan on February 27, 2016
In an effort to relive my childhood for a weekend, I picked this set up to go along with my old Lego castles. I was blown away. Lego really stepped up their efforts over the past few decades. The design of this thing is brilliant. All the moving parts, the functional Lego “guns”, the way the drawbridge works, etc, is way beyond the sets I used to have. Building your own creations is fun, but I would honestly never come up with something this nice on my own. Not in a million years. I really appreciate the effort Lego must put into hiring top talent. I’m excited to see what’s next for the Nexo Knights now, and hope to share this stuff with my son when he’s old enough. Legos are certainly not cheap, but I don’t think anything else really compares to a set like this.
the kid seems to love the set so far – By B. Ho on January 18, 2016
My six year old received this as a present from a generous uncle. My kid was able to put it together with almost no help except for stickers. He loves the missiles and the ramp that comes down in the front along with being able to open the back. While we still have no idea about the Nexo world or who are any of these minifigures, the kid seems to love the set so far.
