LEGO Picks of the Month: June 2016

Welcome to yet another issue of “LEGO Picks of the Month”, where we feature everything we’ve published in our Facebook page throughout the entire month.

Some of the LEGO creations we’ve featured that caught the eyes of our LEGO community include a Star Wars’ iconic Millennium Falcon that’s created from 200k LEGO bricks, a fully functional LEGO turntable, a special Flintstones LEGO set which features the famous city sign “Welcome to Bedrock” and Fred Flintstone’s Stone Age Car, a gigantic Star Wars Destroyer that measures over over 56-inches (1.4m) long, weighs approximately 70-lbs (32kg).

Measuring in at a monumental 16 feet by 12 feet and comprised of 200K LEGO bricks, this super-colossal Star Wars spaceship in LEGOLAND Malaysia is officially the biggest LEGO Millennium Falcon ever created.

A fellow Korean AFOL by the name of Hayarobi created this fully functional LEGO turntable using 2,405 LEGO pieces and powered by a LEGO Power Functions battery box as well as a LEGO Power Functions M-Motor.

4. Custom LEGO Star Destroyer Is So Huge It Has A Three-Level Interior

Custom LEGO Star Destroyer Is So Huge It Has A Three-Level Interior

This gigantic Star Wars Destroyer by AFOL Doomhandle measures over 56-inches (1.4m) long, weighs approximately 70-lbs (32kg) and features a hangar bay, multiple ships, and three levels of various rooms inside.

In the top level, you’ll find the command bridge, the captain’s cabin, a conference room and a Sith meditation chamber. Level two below has even more stuff, with a classic Imperial walkway, sensor and gunner stations, a medical bay, a turbolift and engineering stations. And finally in level one, you’ll find a barracks, a cargo hold with a detention center, and a pretty damn cool hangar bay with some TIE Interceptors, a Sentinel Class Shuttle and a captured Rebel fighter.
