If you only have enough money to buy one new Star Wars Lego set, choose this one! It is by far the most bang for the buck. Great detail and a fun build! Highly recommended!
Lego Star Wars Tantive IV Kit – By Jason Anderson on March 27, 2012
This kit is not meant for play but for display. The build was a little challenging just due to the size and amount of elements. It is pretty fragile for a kit of it’s size; there are a lot of detail elements that come off easily just when moving the model. Other than that, for a Star Wars and Lego fan, it’s a great kit!
Definitely Worth It! – By Roman Gitiarz on November 27, 2011
This is, to date, still my largest LEGO set and it was definitely worth every penny. As an adult, I do not care much for the “playability” of a toy… my LEGO sets are display pieces. But this set has a very high fun factor if only because it is so enjoyable to build. I can take this set apart and rebuild it without getting bored. Such cannot be said of other LEGO models. Even the eleven engines are not as repetitive as I expected, since several of them differ from the others by a few parts. And the exclusive Captain Antilles minifig is an added bonus.
As a display piece, the model is fantastic. So much detail! I’ve had mine for well over a year, and it is still the highlight of my collection.
