It is not common that we see LEGO sets that’s based on the underwater theme – which is why this little barrier reef set by RothausNoppe stood out when we stumbled upon it.
What drew our attention to RothausNoppe’s set is the wide range of colors that were used to represent the corals (we are fans of colorful builds!). Besides the colorful corals, you’ll also find couple of marine animals including a shark, a stingray, as well as an octopus. Plus, you’ll also find a diver with a torchlight investigating life underwater.
Though this set looks small and simple on one look (it is constructed on 2 32×16 base plates which can be folded to one 32×32 base plate), but it depicts the underwater scene really well. This little barrier reef set, in our opinion, also complements very well with the 6 LEGO City Deep Sea sets that were released late last year (2015).
