Inspired by his visit to Mexico, an AFOL of Costa Rica (known by the nickname LegoFan_506 on the LEGO Ideas website), created this Architecture-themed set where you’ll find renditions of some of the most iconic structures in the country.
If you’re from Mexico, or you’ve been to Mexico before, you should be able to identify what the individual structures are, as they are strikingly similar to the real build. You’ll find (from left to right):
1. Angel of Independence – An iconic monument that represents the heroic struggle of Mexican people to decide and make their own path in the world.
2. National Palace – It represents importance of the meeting of cultures, the blending of Spanish and Aztec.
3. Palacio de Bellas Artes or Fine Arts Palace – The best expression of culture and arts in Mexico. It is a symbol of the incredibly rich Mexican culture and its arts contribution.
4. Latin-American Tower – The once tallest building in Iberoamerica, it points out the achievements of Mexico hard work and role in the world.
Check out more images of this build below – you’ll find photographs of each structure, along with the actual building side-by-side, just to show you how similar they both are:
