Roleplay Tintin’s Exploration to the Moon

Here’s another interesting build which will interest you if you’re a fan of The Adventures of Tintin by Belgian cartonist Georges Remi, who wrote under the pen name Hergé.

Tintin: Explorers on the Moon Build by AFOL Han Sbricksteen - Image #01

According to AFOL Han Sbricksteen, who created this build, it was inspired by the Destination Moon (Book #16) and the Explorers on the Moon (Book #17) from The Adventure of Tintin comic albums.

Let us first take a look at the red and white rocket, which is the main feature of Han’s submission to the LEGO Ideas website – it contains three floors based on Hergé’s drawings and the miniature model used by the artist, all of which fully furnished and accessible – You’ll find the cockpit in the upper room, a bedroom, kitchen, and dining room in the central room, along the hold in the lower floor. This rocket measures over 31-inches (79cm) in height.

For those of you who like to see to grab your hands on the main characters from the comic series in minifigure form – good news, this set comes with 10 minifigures (of the main characters from the comic series) – You’ll find Tintin, Captain Haddock, Professor Calculus, Thomson and Thompson and the same characters with an astronaut suit, as well as the dog Snowy, Tintin’s best friend.
