If your favorite thrill ride in the amusement park is the Pirate Ship, then this LEGO-built Pirate Ship by Project_GBK is something you’d be interested in – Measuring 43cm in width, 36cm in depth, and 33cm in depth, one thing that caught our attention is this thrill ride’s ability to work – as this build is equipped with a LEGO Power Functions 8883 medium motor and a 88,000 AAA battery box.
Another thing we like about Project_GBK’s build is that, it really resembles the real thing in a theme park – with the boarding platform connected to the ground and the pirate ship with a 2 way stairs. Capacity-wise, there are a total of 6 rows on board this pirate ship and it can sit a total of 22 minifigures (which is quite a lot in our opinion, and we’re sure you can agree with us on this one).
At the ground floor of the platform, you’ll also find a souvenir shop and refreshment kiosk, where theme party goers can get a souvenir for keeps, as well as some refreshment (which is excellent especially during the middle of the day!)
There are certainly lots of play features in this build, and we certainly hope it can reach its 10,000 supporter votes and be considered by the LEGO Ideas review team to be made into an official LEGO Ideas set.
Here are some images (10 in total) of this set, along with a video of the Pirate Ship in action:
